Ron
Ragusa Sensei, Founder
Ron Ragusa Sensei is the founder
of the Berkshire Hills School of Aikido. After studying with Shuji
Maruyama Sensei, founder of the Aikido Kokikai International
Federation, for 25 years, Ragusa Sensei left the Kokikai
organization in 2001 to continue his study of the art independently.

Master Instructor
Mary Eastland Sensei, certified
Master Instructor, has studied Aikido for over twenty years and currently holds the rank of
sixth degree black
belt. She is co-owner of Berkshire Hills Aikido.
Dora Filanowska Sensei,
Senior Instructor
Dora Filanowska Sensei, certified
Senior Instructor, began her study of Aikido in 1994 and currently
holds the rank of fourth degree black belt. Dora teaches at Roe Jan
Aikido in Hillsdale, New York.

Jocelyn McGrath
Sensei, certified Instructor, began her study of Aikido in
and currently holds the rank of fourth degree black belt.
Jocelyn teaches at Berkshire Pulse in Housatonic, Massachusetts.
Alice Hadley,
Instructor
Alice Hadley, certified Instructor,
began her study of Aikido in 1994 and currently holds the
rank of second degree black belt. Alice teaches at the
Berkshire Hills-Ryu Aikido Club at Massachusetts College of
Liberal Arts in North Adams, Massachusetts.
Neil Feathers, Instructor
Candidate
Neil Feathers, certified Instructor Candidate, currently holds the
rank of first degree black belt. He teaches at the
Berkshire Hills-Ryu Aikido Club at Massachusetts College of
Liberal Arts in North Adams, Massachusetts.
Kim Rivers, Instructor
Kim Rivers, certified Instructor, began her
study of Aikido in 1997 and currently holds the rank of second degree
black belt. Kim teaches at the Berkshire Hills-Ryu dojo located at the
Pittsfield Massachusetts YMCA.

Simon Burke-Lipiczky, certified Instructor, began his study
of Aikido in 1994 and currently holds the rank of third degree
black belt. He teaches at Kaikihara Aikido located in the Judo of
Japan dojo in Troy, New York.
Scott Olsen, Instructor
Scott Olsen, Certified Instructor, began his study of Aikido
in 1989 and currently holds the rank of second degree black belt. He
teaches at the Hai Ken Aikido dojo in Hinsdale,
Massachusetts.
